Why Women Apparels has Such a Vast Selection

Women, out of everyone else, definitely have the biggest selection of clothing and accessories to choose from. The women apparels section, by far, is larger and more extensive than the men or children’s clothing sections in any store. Plus, there are many more women apparels stores to choose from when visiting a shopping mall.

Women have the luxury of being able to dress masculine or feminine without any judgments being passed. It is not uncommon for women to be spotted at a restaurant in anything from athletic clothes and shoes, to a fancy dress with heels and make-up. Women apparels range from these two extremes, and include everything in the middle. Men do not have the luxury of being able to dress masculine or feminine without receiving a few weird looks and stares. It is also simply not socially appropriate for men to dress in women apparels in many circumstances, while it is perfectly normal for women to adorn themselves in slacks, sweat pants, and even ties sometimes. This has not always been the case, not so long ago women apparels consisted almost entirely of dresses and skirts and the clothing and accessories that went along with them.

However, things have changed drastically in the past hundred years or so, and now women have much more freedom and selection when it comes to women apparels. Today, it has even changed so much that it is much more likely to see women in slacks or sweat pants over a skirt or dress. Now, skirts and dresses are typically only worn to nice or formal events by women and pants and shorts are worn on a day to day basis.  Also, women can wear such a vaster variety of shoes than men for this exact same reason. Women can wear flats, sandals, heels, boots, tennis shoes, slippers, and much more that are available in women apparels, while men can only choose from a couple of these options. Basically, women can wear any sort of man’s shoe while men must usually stick to solely shoes made for men.

It is not only because women have the luxury of being able to dress in a number of different garments that the women apparels section has become so extensive. Women apparels also include a number of accessories for women to choose from that men and children do not get. One of the most obvious of these accessories is jewelry. Although men and children do wear jewelry occasionally, it is women who have the abundant selection in the women apparels section. Women can find jewelry for pretty much any part of their body that can hold it. For example, toe rings, ankle bracelets, earrings, belly button rings, rings, tiaras, bracelets, and much more, can all be worn by women. Women also have a huge variety of purses, wallets, clutches, and handbags to choose from in the women apparels section of the store. Men will usually stick to a wallet and sometimes a manly bag, but women have an assortment of different options from a number of manufacturers for their handbag needs. Once again, however, it is not strange for a woman to carry around just a wallet or a manlier bag, while if a man had a cute little clutch he might be judged.

These are only a few of the reasons why the women apparels section has such a larger amount of clothing and accessories to choose from over men and children apparels. Women today have the luxury of being able to wear almost anything and accessorize in almost anything and still be accepted by society as normal women.
