When looking for good restaurants in your area, it could be a very difficult task if you are not sure what you are in the mood for. You could go through a lot of stress trying to think of the best place that you want to eat right now. Naturally, it would depend on different variables on where to get some food. Depending on the occasion, you might need to find a place that can host a party or a business meeting. You might just need a place that you can take your entire family out for a great time. The idea is finding the right place for your occasion. The question is what do you look for?

The Search Is On

Many people, when searching for the restaurants in their area, they usually either go off their own experiences with the place or they ask for the opinion of someone they trust. You might even see the occasional person look online to see the rating of what complete strangers think about the different restaurants in the area. Every opinion can be taken very serious and could really help a person decide on where to eat. The worst thing that could happen is that you make a wrong choice and you are stuck with eating and paying for the experience.

The Experience

When you actually find the best place in which you would like to eat, then it is a matter of what experience you received. Hopefully the place that you decide to eat is going to measure up to your expectations. It is good to have a set expectation when you walk into an establishment so that you will ensure that you are getting what you pay for.

A good experience, from the restaurants of your choice is different for people across the board. For one person the ideal experience is for someone to park their car for them as they pull up. They do not have walk far from their car to the building and they are out of the elements. Those same people might enjoy elegance and exotic meals that can be found at only a few locations. Other people will be completely fine with parking their own car, getting the most food for their money and their food tasting exquisite. They are looking to not break the bank on their meal but at the same time, they are expecting the same respect as a person would walk into an upscale establishment.

How to Tip

After you meal, most restaurants believe that you should tip your waiter or waitress. That is considered common courtesy. Naturally, most people would believe that you should only tip depending on how great your service was. Now for few people, they believe you should tip no matter what kind of service you receive. That decision is solely up to you.

If you decide to tip, how much do you tip your server? The common thought is that you should tip them fifteen to twenty percent of your total meal. Now of course, that is if everything that you were expecting was perfect. Your glass stayed full, they came around to check on you at a reasonable amount and they were there when you needed them to be. Most people feel if the food was not great that it should affect the tip of the server. There are many factors that come into the tip. How much to pay, is solely on your shoulders.
