This book came in a very timely manner, was in great shape, and I paid under $6 including shipping fee. When it arrived, it still had the price tag of $45.95 on it. I would recommend this method of buying used books to anyone.

This book, while comprehensive in the number aspects of each theory which it covers, is not for beginners. Its explanations leave wide gaps in understanding and are not particularly clear or thorough. It explains the major concepts of each theory but often fails to adequately link some concepts to the body of the theory. Using this book successfully in a classroom setting would require a great deal of supportive material for the students or a “fill-in” lecture for each chapter by the teacher in order to explain the concepts which Drs James and Gilliand breeze over.
