Yes, I live by myself and have two vehicles. I also live in Minnesota where the snow likes to fall heavy in the winter time. I commute 45 minutes both ways to my job and I have to be able to get there no matter the weather conditions. It was getting to be about impossible with my two door car to get out on the slippery road conditions. That is why I decided to purchase a four wheel drive truck that is more capable of handling those type of whether conditions. However, I do not have a garage for my car, and I do not want to leave it out in the blistery winter winds and snow.

Well our four fathers fought and died so we could have the freedom to say and think what we want. But ultimately everything we take for granted was paid for in blood.

When people are over seas they usually have people taking care of their affairs while they are away. In fact my uncle is keeping a vehicle for one of his buddies that is over seas. My uncle’s buddy has a nice big SUV. He makes the comment, “if he’s over seas for much longer; I’m going to take owner ship of the vehicle!” Of course it was just a joke. Every week or so, my uncle has to start it up and take it around the block just to make sure that the gas and oil doesn’t get stagnant. If you leave a car for too long without starting it, the battery will die and the gas will become stagnant and will no longer pump.

My uncle responded to a friend in need and keeps his vehicle in his garage instead of using a local car storage facility. My uncle let his friend store it there for free of course instead of parking his car at a local car storage facility were it can get expensive over time. It’s always good to be able to take care of a friend in need. My uncle is great friend. He used to be in the armed services in his younger days. He knows the hardships of being on duty and I’m sure he would do more for his friend if he could.

No one likes to drive their car in the snow. I always wanted to believe that the people in Florida or other southern states have it lucky because they do not have to deal with snow. I thought they were lucky until I realize they have to consistently dodge hurricanes. So I will take the snow any day. But the fact of the matter is that it is not fun to drive in the snow. For that reason, this is why people look at the local car storage facilities in order to house their vehicle for the winter seasons.

There are some people that usually decide to park their cars on the street or in their driveways until the snow defrosts. Also people use their driveways to fix up the vehicle that does not seem to be working now. For the people trying to fix their vehicle, they are usually not allowed to do any kind of maintenance inside the rental space or on the property. They are kind of out of luck on that. Most facilities require that the car needs to be functional, insured and be registered under the name of the person renting.

When it comes to people that drive multiple vehicles and they do not have the space to store them at home, they look for local car storage . When they want to drive one vehicle they park the other vehicle at the storage facility. Some people pay good money to this especially areas that do not have land around the house or people who live in apartments that do not have enough room to put two vehicles. You have to decide if the cost to store the car is worth
