Granted one could simple drive to the nearest storage facility and just rent what ever unit is available within the size range that is needed. But this society has become so aware and sensitized to the shopping world, that storage renters are also clumped into the group of people who shop around.

Not only do people who are looking for new homes, call and shop first, but more and more each day storage renters are doing the same. They need to make their buck go as far as it can. People want to get the best deal. It is not like it used to be. No longer are they driving to the nearest facility and jumping in to rent.

Now there is a process. That is why it is important to know what you offer. It is important to recognize the callers needs and find something that suites them. And usually that is not enough either. You have to make sure that they are getting the best deal that surrounds the unit size needed.

The economy is putting a strain on most people including those who need to shop self storage. With that strain on the renter, renters are that much more serious about contacting someone who can sympathize with them and who wants to sincerely help them by getting the renter into the appropriate sized unit at the best possible deal .
