Nowadays people are out there trying to find a way to get customers into their shops, websites, etc in order to purchase their product. They are spending dollar upon dollar to see if they can get these people into their business. You will see all kinds of banner ads on websites, links on web pages, and commercials on radio and television trying to get your attention. I really wonder if people really do listen to these different advertisements or do they just get mad because it is irrupting what they are working on.

I for one am not a big fan of people trying to sell me on sometime that I right now do not need. I hate listening to my favorite talk radio station and then the conversation have to be interrupted by talk about some restaurant they just went to that is overpriced, but the “best”. I want to hear things that matter to me or see the programs that I like with out products and services being thrown in my face. It is very irritating.

I found that I never see an ad in which the self storage customer can see that will encourage them to go their local self storage community rent a storage space. I do not see the advertising in which people see that makes them ring my phone ring. I always ask how they heard about the facility I am answering for and I hear most of the time that they went on the internet or drove by. Where on the internet are they seeing advertisements for this self storage community facility? Maybe they are just searching for the name or saw the name in the yellow pages. Then the self storage customer decided to call and talk to a live person versus stare at some page of information. It is just weird to me that self storage is so successful and I do not ever see them advertised in anyway.
