It is not a secret to anyone that this is the age of technology. There are not many that have not been exposed to some form of technology that is helping their life function more smoothly. For those who are far away from a large city, they still have been touched by the technology age because they have lights or running water. Many would say that we as Americans are spoiled by technology and would be lost without it. For many that is true. For others, they would adapt quickly and live their lives.

For the shopping community there have been many new additions. Way back in the past in order to get clothes you had to make them yourself. For some people, they made clothes in order make a living for their family. Some even traded clothes for other items their household needed. They would sit there and sew until they could not longer sew. Now they do not have to do nearly as much by hand. They can use a machine that could almost produce the item of clothing on their own. In order to produce a large shipment of clothes many companies use a machine to produce thousands of the same items in the time it would take to blink. Maybe not that fast but you get the picture.

Now that the shopper has many different items to choose from, they can use one of the greatest technologies of all, the internet, and go to comparison online shopping sites. On these comparison online shopping sites they can do everything that they would do in the store. They would go to a store online and see what they had to offer. Some sites allow you to narrow your search down by what article of clothing you would want and also your size. Then what you were looking at on the screen would only be in your size, so you do not have to waste time looking around at things that you would not buy.

With comparison online shopping sites you have all the power at your fingertips. You can put all the companies in which you like to shop at all on one screen to see who is going to give you the best deal. There is nothing the company can do to sway you in their direction except for have a great marketing plan. They might have a great website that is easy to navigate and also great deals. With those online amenities then a customer might be more likely to shop on their website.

There are a couple of downsides to comparison online shopping sites. Not all sites will have online help if you are not sure what something means or if it comes in your size. If you were in the store you could walk up to a sales associate and ask if this design comes in your size. Some advanced sites will have someone on call that you could type to while you are shopping. They can be your online shopping assistant. For people who feel that if the company does not have it online they are not going to shop at that site anymore. That is also a disadvantage to the stores because even though it is not online, they could have it in the store.

There are pros and cons to comparison online shopping sites but in the grand scheme of things, it comes down to what you like. If you like to go out and thumb through all the clothes in your sizes int eh actual store or click through sites with your mouse, it is sure that you will have fun either way.
