I should have read the review for the smaller wardrobe that’s also on sale here. First, this is product is annoyingly difficult to put together and is entirely made of plastic. As I put clothes in it, the whole started to sag toward the center, putting outward pressure on the corners until finally I heard cracking noises. Several of the joints cracked and the unit started sagging, putting further pressure on the other plastic joints.
I duct taped the joints, but it would end up sagging the next day. Finally, the zipper up at the top completely popped out of place. We’re tossing this tomorrow and buying something a little better.
I used to think Rubbermaid was a decent brand, but I was sorely mistaken. Don’t make the same mistake I (and that other guy i the other review did). Skip this product!

Unlike a few of the other reviewers, I found this product is very sturdy, and I will say it exceeded my expectation. It is not made with flimsy plastic, as is the case for generic super-market copies that I have seen. I was planning to use it only for my light items (like shirts etc.) but it seems strong enough to hold jeans and light jackets as well.
Assembly tip:
Make sure that the 3 narrow “sticks” at the top go UNDER the middle rod (from which you will hang hangers), because else it would not hold up.
I’d highly recommend buying this if you are looking for cheap closet space.

I have read other reviews. Some seem to miss the point: THIS ITEM COSTS LESS THAN $40!
I am delighted with this product.
I assembled it with care. It was easy, but you have to follow the instructions, and be genntle with the fabric.
For less than $40 this is a terrific buy. It suits my needs, is now full of my summer clothes, and will have my winter clothes in May.
If you are heavy handed, not at all mechanically inclined, or exhibit anger when trying to follow instructions, do not buy this product.
If you are easy going, can follow the instructions, and don’t expect too much from a $35 product you will be delighted with this product.
I would buy it again if I needed more hanging storage space.

Was seeking a temporary solution for more closet space. My wife and I now live full-time in a 37 foot 5th wheeler RV. These two units went together easily and as long as you do not overload it, works quite well. Our only suggestion would be to substitute the flimsy cardboard bottom for a piece of 1/4″ thick Mason board.

I was very happy when I got the message that my daughter had received the 60 inch portable closets. She kept on saying how huge they were.I asked about the sturdiness and space on the bottom for shoes…she said yes it is sturdy and there was enough space for her kids shoes.Because they were so large she chose to use some as winter storage in the attic. Yes that’s right…She really loved the fact they are dust-free-storage as well!!
