Once you get a twitter account and start playing around with it, it is difficult for many people to let it go. Although once you do have a twitter account you might start spending even more of your time online, there are a lot of benefits to having a twitter account and looking through twitter that a lot of people are not aware of.

Twitter is still a growing social network and not as many people have it as you might think. However, it is growing quickly and more and more people are joining every day, so if you are interested in getting a twitter account don’t let the fact that not many people you know have one as well. Instead, get your account and then convince everyone else to get one as well. Before you know it, you will have tons of followers.

Twitter is also a great way to get the most up to date news possible. As soon as someone posts news to twitter it is accessible for whoever wants to know about it. Twitter is not just a social networking site, but it is also a search engine. You can look up anything you would like on Twitter, just like Google, and you will get the news immediately as it is posted. You do not even need to have a twitter account to search Twitter, but you do need to have a twitter account to post anything.

Although for many people twitter is simply another social networking site that people waste their time on, it is important to consider all of the benefits to twitter. If you have a twitter account and get the most out of twitter, having a twitter account will be worth it for most people.
