I recently moved from a large home to an apartment. Even though I had greatly reduced my possessions I began running into problems. I was putting things wherever I found room and then could not find anything. After reading Do-It-Yourself Organizing for Dummies I organized my “things” according to the instructions and tips. I still have all my possessions but now they are logically and neatly organized and I can find everything…even at night!

Being a new parent has brought many new organizational challenges. This book has great ideas for storage for kid’s bedrooms and play spaces. Living in NYC you have to be creative with space, especially when you have a child. This book gave fantastic ideas. I highly recommend it

I originally bought this book for my sister (thinking I didn’t need it) and WOW! So many great ideas that now I need to get her another one because I dogeared all the pages and made notes!

I have tried to install some projects on my own, but the instructions were not clear. I liked having the step by step instructions in this book, which makes the project much easier. Also, I enjoyed the little jokes – it was actually fun to read about organizing!

Sandra Munson has a way of making a big task small! Not only are her hints helpful but easy to understand. I never thought I would be able to install shelves without hiring a professional. In California space is at a premium, Organizing for Dummies shows how maximize function in every space from the kitchen to the garage! Sandra’s ability to guide, teach and entertain make this book a hit! Please, please do your next series on how to organize digital photos!
