Spam advertising is when what are typically referred to as “junk” e-mails are sent to a whole bunch of recipients and try to get you to buy a particular product; this is done often through manipulative ways.

Unlike television advertisements which only appear at certain times, online advertising is happening 24 hours a day seven days a week. Another benefit to this form of advertising is that people from all over the world can come across these websites with online advertisements of one type or another. This greatly increases the number of potential customers.
