My Shoe Shopping Love Story
Clothing Shopping — By Shopping Blogs on September 4, 2009 8:26 amI do not know how I managed to fall in love with Monica. But I did, and now I get to experience all of her personality quirks and little fetishes. I met Monica while I was shoe shopping for a new pair of running shoes. She came sashaying up to me and asked in a cute, slightly southern drawl, if she could help me with my shoe shopping needs. Boy, she was a knockout! She had thick chestnut brown hair that cascaded down her back, an athletic body, and the most piercing green eyes I had ever seen. I stared at her, probably with my mouth hanging open, before I was able to snap back to reality and the fact that I was shoe shopping and she was simply trying to help me out.
Regaining control of my bottom lip, and my thoughts, I managed to tell Monica that I was shoe shopping for a new pair of athletic shoes. I handed her the shoe in my hand and asked her if I could please see it in a size 12.
“Oh, big feet huh? I know what that means.” She winked at me and disappeared, shoe in hand. I sat down on the closest bench and tried to figure out what I wanted to do. I came to the mall because I needed to go shoe shopping, but I was certainly not opposed to getting to know Monica while in the process. She came back a few minutes later, shoes in hand.
“Thanks..” I managed to get out, as she handed the shoes over to me. “You okay?” She asked. “You look a little flustered.”
Mortified, I tried to smile up at her. “Yea, I’m fine. This shoe shopping is just a little overwhelming for me today. So many amazing shoes to choose from…” I trailed off.
“Well, I would be happy to narrow down your selection a little bit, if you would like. I know shoe shopping can be tough sometimes. I’m an expert at it though,” she smiled flirtatiously at me.
I took Monica up on her offer and sat back as she went over multiple athletic shoes, explaining the pros and cons of each one. As she talked, I was hardly listening to her; no longer was I focused on shoe shopping. Instead, I was imagining taking her to dinner, snuggling with her on the couch watching a movie, and kissing her for the first time. These thoughts trailed through my head, one after the other, as I watched the knock-out in front of me, who was simply trying to help me with my shoe shopping. All of a sudden, she was in my face, her lips inches from my own.
“Are you even listening to what I’m saying?” She asked, pouting her bottom lip a little and staring intently into my eyes with her amazing green ones. It took all I had not to grab her in the middle of the store, which surely would have been awkward for everyone else there, who actually were focusing on their shoe shopping.
“No, I’m not listening to you,” the words rushed out of me. “I’m imagining getting you somewhere where I can kiss you.”
She pulled back from me and gave me a cocky grin, “Oh, I thought you were just here to do some shoe shopping? Was that not your intent?”
“Well, shoe shopping was my original plan…but well, sometimes things change.” I knew I was taking a big risk, but I could not help myself. I wanted Monica.
“I’ll make you a deal,” she looked me up and down. “You buy a pair of shoes, since I’m working on commission here. And I’ll let you take me to dinner”.
Not believing my good fortune, I stumbled to the counter with the original pair of shoes she had brought over to me. My shoe shopping was done for the day, but my relationship with Monica was just beginning.
