This MiniDV rack is made of “high-impact molded plastic” and is manufactured in the US. The walls are about 3/8″ thick and it’s quite sturdy. It’s matte black with interesting swirl patterns in the plastic.
It has three mounting holes so you can mount it vertically or horizontally–you don’t need to put screws in all three holes.
All in all this is a well-made product and I’m happy with it.

It’s hard to find a DV storage rack. This one is sturdy and fits them very well. It’s strange it only has mounting holes on 3 corners, and no screws are included, but 3 are enough to hold it and you would probably need different screws depending on the mounting surface anyway. It makes is much easier to organize tapes than the stacks of 10 on a shelf I used to do.

It’s supposed to hold Mini-DV tapes and it does. It is not much to look at, and in my view it is overpriced for what it is (making it easier for me to go with 3 stars instead of 4), but it beats a jumbled drawer of tapes. Has openings on back to wall mount it.

These work wonderful. Before I had purchased these I had my tapes sitting in piles all over the place. If you want to get organized and clear up some of the clutter this is a great product. Keeps the tapes safe and secure.
