It Takes A Team To Keep Staff Motivated

You will see that the business took its time and planned well for everything to be clean, nice and running smoothly. When you are sitting at your table at a five star restaurant, all you are thinking is that this is a great experience. When you call a company on the phone for them to help you with your situation, you think about how grateful you are that they were able to help. What most of us do not consider what is going on in the background to make all this happen?
In any of the large or small businesses, you will find that there is some sort of business structure in place that takes charge of how to motivate staff so every customer has a pleasant experience. The business structure is in place because without order, there would be chaos. There are people in the front line that are handling most of the customer affairs and there are people that are doing some hard work and supporting the team that face the customers. There are always people at the top of the company making the hard decisions and three will be people that are at the bottom of the preverbal totem pole. Let us take a look at what most structures within a business look like and how each can be a part of how to motivate staff .
The President or CEO
At the top of a business you will find a president, CEO or someone with another title. Their job is to make sure that their individual company is running smoothly. They are the ones at the top that are making the tough decisions that will affect everyone that is in their company. Before something new gets implemented, usually the president or the CEO knows about it and will give their approval. Typically this is a rewarding position, but of course with great reward comes great responsibility. If this business is a public company, they have to answer to the share holders if something goes wrong.
Division Managers or Supervisors
Not every business model is going to have this position especially if the business is a small one. Sometimes you will find this position in the companies that gross upwards in the billions of dollars. Their responsibilities are not limited to communicating to information from the corporate team to the rest of the field. They also have to ensure that they know exactly what is going on in their individual divisions. If a division is not performing, the division manager needs to have solution on how to motivate staff and bring productivity and sales back up.
Supervisors and specialists
Supervisors and specialists can be named all kinds of different names in a corporation. There is no way that a company can make it without these line level associates and supervisors not performing at high levels so keeping in mind how to motivate staff at this level is vital. The company that these individuals work for want to make sure that these associates are happy and can make the customer happy. These associates and their contribution to the success of the company, are huge.
Every structure is different when it comes to how they would like their company ran. What really matters is that the company is running smoothly and knows how to motivate staff , decisions are being made, and profits are being made.
