Every year, most businesses try to figure out what they are going to do in terms of keeping their business afloat while trying to make some profit to report to Wall Street for their investors. With some, it is a definite struggle to make sure that their clientele keep buying from them, and are happy with their products.  Every type of business has their own difficulties especially when it involves direct human contact. The same question always comes up at the morning meetings. How do we get them to buy our product?

In the self storage industry, they have many conference’s in various cities at which, people can come together and bounce idea’s off each other to see how they can improve their standings.  Being part of this self storage community can definitely help your business out tremendously. Now, I make it sound easy. Many companies think that more successful businesses are going to share their secrets of success with them.  In reality, most businesses stay successful because they put their competition out of business.  In the self storage community you have to build a network of peers that can help you when you need it.  But you both also have the understanding that you are out to be the number one self storage company.  Business is business!

We are all in same boat when it comes to the self storage market. Many people are willing to do what they have to do, to keep their doors open to their own mini self storage community, and keep their spaces full. I know if I wasn’t doing well in the market place, I would reach out and get as many people to help me as I could without seeming to desperate.
