Diverse Topics for the Podcast

There are many different topics you can do a self storage podcast on. One topic of discussion can be training. The training of people at your company and facility is very important. Without training how do you know what you are supposed to do on a daily basis?

When it comes to training there is not exact formula or key. It is always up to the individual or the company trying to do the necessary training to create a custom training program for their staff. With a self storage podcast , the company can do a basic training program or an advanced. This also allows the company not to have to send a person all over the nation to train individuals. This could cost the company a lot of money when a simple podcast can get the same information to the individual or company through a website. Most people would choose the cheaper option.

Now you need to look at both sides of the training spectrum. The self storage podcast will give the company some great information to start, but there needs to be follow up from you, the company trainer. Just sitting the employee down in front of a computer and say learn, is not the most effective way to train. The podcast is just a tool that can help you tremendously.

Tracking the progress of your trainees is important. It would make you as a trainer to feel good seeing your people get better, but it will also help see which employees are not picking up the material or information quickly. By tracking the progress of your employees you will know which person needs more of your time.
