Surely, reader, you have suffered losses similar to my own. No doubt, you have, at some point, left your car parked on the road for a bit too long. Surely, you have, at some point, awoken to the unwelcome sight of your damaged vehicle. No time of year is safe, in these regards. Be it winter or summer, parking an active or inactive vehicle on the road is never safe. You should never bother with such unnecessary risks when local car storage is so easy to find. If you feel that your car is at risk, simply pick up the phone book or take to the internet. In hardly any time at all, you will be able to find a safe place to store your vehicle.

My own vehicle is a classic. It is a rare model, one might say. To my tremendous detriment, I left my vehicle parked on the road last winter. Unsurprisingly, it was struck several times throughout the season. Not a single perpetrator left me with any insurance information, or even a note of apology. Of course, I can see the errors of my ways now, though I cannot do anything to change the past.

Local car storage would have saved a ton of money in the long run. With it, I could have maintained the quality of my vehicle. Now, I am going to have to put a significant amount of money into fixing it and restoring it. Take it from someone who has suffered the repercussions of irresponsibility, and always store your car if you feel that it may be in danger.
