Reviewer: Patrick Juettner| Date:2010-03-02If you are looking for a small MP3 to listen to music, this is the one. Why do I like it;
* This is one small unit. I actually clip it to my wristwatch. I did not want something that could play videos or show pictures because I just don't think I would use those functions at work. Seriously, who is going to ask to see your vacation photos at work.
* Big sound - I like the way this sounds. I am not crazy about the supplied earbuds as they kept falling out soooooooo I picked up some j-buds.
* Holds lots of music. I've got like 60 CD's stored on here. Nice to listen to so much variety. I might pick up a radio slot card someday, but not in the near future.
Great small unit with big sound and lots of storage.
PeejReview from Review from AmazonReviewer: A. Griffin| Date:2010-02-25This MP3 player is just what I wanted. I had a wonderful Samsung, but the battery life had dwindled to an hours run. This little gizmo has been like the energizer bunny--it just goes and goes. This is the second one for me--the first "bricked" on me. When the battery ran down, it just would not recharge and then it did NOTHING--no lights, no camera, no action :( I returned it within the 30 day period and Amazon was wonderful--absoulutely no issues in returning it and getting it replaced! I listen to audiobooks downloaded from our library. The only issue I have had is if I need to back up to hear a part over, it wants to start from the beginning of the book--not good. I don't know if I just don't know what I am doing or if that is really what it does. It does NOT do it when I listen to music--it will back up just a small way and then continue. All in all, you can not beat this little player--especially for the low price!Review from Review from AmazonReviewer: Nikhil Gajwani| Date:2010-02-25I've ranked the attributes as such and I think this thing scores really well on all fronts except two.
1. Ease of use - the menu system is far from perfect. It's not unusable or buggy, just not well thought out in my opinion.
2. Battery life - 10 hours is a bit on the low side. My Creative Zen Stone used to go almost 20 when new, if I remember right.
On all other fronts this thing is pretty awesome. Sound quality is great and so is build quality. I like the size, the screen is properly readable (if a little fingerprint attractive) and the clip is handy. I wish it had a better arm band available for it, but I can manage. Also, I'm loving the FLAC support - with good headphones you can really tell the difference.Review from Review from AmazonReviewer: Steven Purgill| Date:2010-02-23The player did not work oout of the box. The display only showed yellow and blue lines. I gavwe this product 1 star and the additional star was for Amazons easy return policy.Review from Review from AmazonReviewer: Reza Gholamipour| Date:2010-02-22Here we go:
Cons:
1. It's a little too small for one hand operation. It is doable but not that easy.
2. Radio doesn't have the best reception inside of building like in you r office, I was counting on this
3. Voice recorder is not like digital voice recorders, you can't put it on your desk and record a conversation, you need to have the system close to your mouth so it is mostly good for you making notes of things you want to do rather than recording a conversation or class room use
4. If you are planning to connect this to your car stereo or Aux, it does not offer a strong amplifier such I-Pod does so you will end up have the volume at the highest and your stereo same way for some descent sound
5. Clip seems a little flimsy, be careful or you will break it
6. Battery does not live up to advertised specs but good enough for daily use
7. be careful when plugging the USB cable to the unit as it is fragile if you push when it is not 100% aligned you can easily break the solder joint and miss place it
8. USB cable comes with the cable is too short
9. When it is connected to USB for charging, unit can NOT be used!
Pros:
1. Easy to use, just drag and drop your songs, no fancy software needed like some other players.
2. Good price for what it has to offer
3. Having radio and voice recorder features are of a plus although it is just OK as for performance of them
4. SlotRadio is a good option in case one wants to upgrade the memory
5. Quality is descent if you use the unit with headphone rather than connecting it to an Aux
6. You really can't go wrong buying it but keep in mind how the features perform if that's what you are counting on

The Money Saving Power Of The InternetBy admin on February 17, 2010 | No Comments
We are all facing tough times ahead due to the country’s current financial state. Thousands of Americans have lost their jobs, while many more have seen a reduction in either the number of hours per week they work, their salaries, or both. Add to that the fact that the prices of many goods and services are on the rise, and it will be easy to see why so many Americans are concerned about the future of their finances. Something simply must be done to help give hard working Americans some peace of mind as they trudge through these difficult financial times, and one thing everyone agrees can help is lowering your spending but once you’ve trimmed the fat from your budget, what else can be done? The simple fact is that there are many things we have to purchase (food, clothing, etc.) just to live our day-to-day lives. How can we reduce the amount of money we spend on all these necessary things? Thankfully, there is an answer to that very question, and the answer is price comparison shopping. Thousands of people are already doing it, and you can too.
Trimming the fat is great, and can help you to save all the money you spend on luxury items, but is not an applicable method of saving money on all the necessities in your life. The only way, then, to help yourself save money as far as items of that nature are concerned, is to pay less for them in the first place, and that is precisely what price comparison shopping allows you to do. It is an extremely easy, extremely effective method of ensuring that you save money on all the things you buy most often. If properly applied to your life, it can save you substantial amounts of money, everyday!
So, “What is price comparison shopping and how to I do it?” you may be wondering. It is quite simply a method of finding the lowest prices available on all the goods and services offered in your area, and then buying the things you need at that location. If you knew that the prices were lower at one local store than at another, wouldn’t you go shopping there instead? Thanks to the awesome power of the Internet, you can easily find out where the best deals on whatever you might need can be found, so that you can partake of the savings you might never have even known existed!
There are many wonderful sites online today that can help you with your price comparison shopping quest. You simply visit the site, plug in a little info, such as your location, and what it is you are searching for, and the rest is taken care of for you. In no time at all you’ll not only have a list of all the retailers in your area that have what you need in stock, but how much they charge for it. Never again will you have to wonder if you are getting a good deal on all the things you purchase, you’ll know you got the best deal in town!
So, why not do some price comparison shopping today? It’s simple, it’s fun, and best of all, it will save you money! And with the current financial climate in which we live, can anyone afford not to save?

Motorcycle Shopping – Comprar una motoBy admin on January 27, 2010 | No Comments

The Opinions of People You KnowBy admin on January 6, 2010 | No Comments
Finding a good shopping buddy is always a good thing when visiting multiple shopping locations. Sometimes people like to shop alone, but it is more fun when a person can bounce ideas of a friend or family member. Each of the people shopping together have shared many of the same and also different experiences. When people get together and share comparison shopping information everyone gains from that conversation. They will know where to shop, where not to shop, which places have great deals, etc. Word of mouth seems to be a great method of sharing comparison shopping information .
When going shopping as a group, it is not always easy for people to agree on where to shop due to the comparison shopping information they know. For the most part not every member of your group shares the same ideas, the same clothes size or even the same tastes. It is very important that you make each person of you group feel that they are contributing to the group. When people talk to each other in regards to shopping, they can end up saving money, saving time, and also enjoy the company of each other.
Value
It is not a secret that some places you decide to shop will be more expensive than other places. If different people within your small shopping group have been to different stores, then saving money can be as simple as avoiding different areas of the product. If you are shopping for clothes, then you should avoid buying things that are not on sale. If you are looking at electronics then you should see if anyone has any comparison shopping information on that product. You do not want to spend money on a product that is not a sound investment.Saving money is very key to many people who love shopping as much as they breathe. On the other hand, when it comes to fashion, there will be people who would not mind spending the extra dollar. Value is more than just saving money. Value can also be what did you get for the money that was offered. There will be times in which people will buy fashion when it is hot and then maybe not wear it again. At the time it was a great value for that person.
Saving Time
When people look at comparison shopping information they are really looking at a way to save themselves some time. There is nothing like knowing where not to go and also which places will give you the best deals. When it comes to time, you have to ensure that you are not wasting it. Time is so valuable to people that if they can find a way to save some time they will most likely take that opportunity. When people can openly share their thoughts it is a great thing. It will save people from making the wrong decisions when it comes to purchasing the item they were looking at. They could choose a product that your friends advised you against and then a year later, you regret that purchase. Trying not to get the wrong information or make the wrong decision is easier said than done. For the serious shoppers, they can not afford to make a mistake and end up missing out on a great deal, the product or even the rest of their life. Shopping is everything to a group of people and they are serious about the information they seek.

Insure the Important Things in Your LifeBy admin on December 7, 2009 | No Comments
There are many different things you need to insure in order to live a safe and smart life. Many people hate paying for insurance because it does end up costing quite a bit, but without insurance one could end up in a lot of financial trouble. Some of the things that people insure are required while others are simply by choice. Whenever you have the choice about whether you want insurance on a particular thing or product, it is important to consider all of the pros and cons of having and paying for insurance.
Health insurance is the most important and necessary form of insurance. Everyone should have health insurance because our health is the most important thing to us because it can involve whether we live or die. Although there are many different types of health insurance plans, it is very important to insure your health with some form of health insurance and to make sure that the plan you are on is right for you. Often, if you are employed full time, the business you work for will provide you with health insurance. If this is not the case, you will have to insure your own health by purchasing health insurance yourself. Although many people think that they are invincible and do not need to insure their health, nobody can predict the future and people often end up being badly injured or having a disease that costs quite a bit of money to pay for, especially if you do not insure your health with health insurance.
The next most important form of insurance is car insurance. If you drive, you need to insure your car and yourself by purchasing car insurance. It is not legal to drive without car insurance because you are a liability to other people as well as yourself when you are driving. It is extremely dangerous to not insure yourself before you get into a vehicle and if you are stopped and cannot present some form of car insurance you will be in big trouble. Do a favor to yourself and everyone else on the road and make sure to insure yourself and your car if you are a driver.
Another important thing to insure is your house. If you are a home owner it is very wise to purchase home owner’s insurance because there are so many things that can happen to a house. The weather exposes your house to a number of elements and can often do serious damage to it. It is also important to insure your house in case you have problems with mold or any other components of the house.
Whenever people purchase expensive electronics they are given the choice to insure their product for an amount of time. Many people choose to insure televisions, computers, and other expensive electronics and products because they would rather pay a small price than buy a whole new one if something happens to it. Obviously, this type of insurance is not required because it does not work to protect anyone; it only protects a product.
Paying for all of these things you need to insure every month is very expensive. However, if you were to be caught in a situation where you needed insurance and did not have it you would be in much more trouble financially. Making the smart decision to insure your house, car, and health is very important.

Storage Unit to the RescueBy admin on November 23, 2009 | No Comments
There are many times when friends will room together for college or after college and end up hating each other. So many different things can happen between roommates that can make them come to despise each other. It is usually too late to do anything about a living situation after you realize that you have a roommate you cannot live happily with. When this happens, there is something you can do. Move out and go live with friends or family and put your things into a storage unit until you can figure out another place to live. A storage unit will keep all of your things safe for a low price until you have somewhere new to move into. Although having most of your stuff in a storage unit is not an ideal situation for anyone, it is better than leaving it with a roommate you do not trust or are having serious issues with.
Imagine if you were a neat freak and your roommate was a slob. Every morning, before you leave for work you tidy up the kitchen by putting all of the dishes in the dishwasher and scrubbing the counter, sink, and stove down. When you return home after a long and tiring day at work dishes are piled in the sink, beverages have been spilled all over the counter, and there is a squirmy cluster of ants swarming a sandwich that is on the kitchen floor. You are overwhelmed and pissed off. You just cleaned everything this morning! It is at this moment that you decide that you can no longer deal with your roommate’s living habits and you move out, go live with someone else, and put your stuff into a storage unit.
In order to avoid a situation where you need to move out and put your things into a storage unit, it is best to talk to potential roommates about your living habits before moving in with someone. If you realize right away that you and a potential roommate are not going to work, you are avoiding a stressful move out situation where you do not have a place to live and your things are all in a storage unit.
It is fortunate that there is the option to put your things into a storage unit if you do need to move out of a bad living situation. Anyone that you go to live with is doing you a favor letting you stay at their place and they might not have the room to accommodate you and all of your things. The best thing you can do is put all of your things into a storage unit so you are not imposing on them too much. You should take one suitcase of all the things you are going to need for the amount of time you will be out of a place to live and then put everything else into a storage unit. If you have furniture and stuff like that it is especially important that you do not bring all of that with you to someone else’s house because they will definitely not have room for stuff like that.
It is lucky that a service such as a storage unit is available for situations such as these. There are a number of transitioning periods people go through where they need a storage unit such as moving out of a bad living situation with a terrible roommate.

America and the Economic CrisisBy admin on November 21, 2009 | No Comments
America, which has always been looked at as a leading country for opportunity, success, and growth, is facing a huge economic crisis. Multiple factors have led and contributed to this poor economy which will hopefully begin to improve over the next few months.
The economic crisis America is facing is the result of a number of things. It is not completely clear what began this downfall, but many point to the increase in housing prices which began in the late 1990’s and continued through 2005. With housing costs rising, many Americans could no longer afford houses they would have been able to with their available incomes. Unfortunately these rising housing costs were taking place when September 11th occurred and all the effects of that terrible day were put into place. Because of September 11th, interest rates were lowered making it very easy to borrow money for things like homes. So, basically, people who were not able to afford homes were able to buy them anyway, but then, eventually, ended up unable to pay them back. Also, many people were finding easy ways to make money in the housing market and when it collapsed, this began the spiral which would lead to an economic crisis. Banks soon realized they had invested a lot of their money in loans which were bad and the economic crisis took off as investors pulled their money out of the banks. This led to banks being unable to give out any loans, since they hardly had any money on hand because of all the bad loans they had invested in. So, people who needed loans could not get them, which made it impossible for them to make big purchases. These different problems, along with a number of other factors, led to America’s economic crisis.
The economic crisis has had a huge affect on America and all of its citizens. People are being laid off right and left and families are struggling more than ever financially. Benefits are decreasing and those who would have been able to retire have to continue working. However, these people are the lucky ones during the economic crisis for so many people are unemployed. Now is a terrible time to be graduating from college or entering the workforce because even the most basic of jobs are hard to come by. Finding a part time job, even as a high school student, is difficult because of the economic crisis.
President Obama has plans to fix the economic crisis and put America back on its feet. Of course, this economic crisis is not easily reversible and it is going to take a lot of time and energy in order to be put right. However, President Obama has quite a few plans he has put into action in order to save America from its economic crisis. First of all, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment act which will create 3.5 million more jobs and give 95% of Americans a tax cut. Many people do not approve of this act, mostly those who are well off and will be paying much higher taxes, but for most Americans it is a positive act which will put America in the right direction to getting out of the financial crisis. Secondly, President Obama has put into effect a new housing program to help stabilize the housing market, which was a main cause to the economic crisis. Finally, President Obama has made investments in healthcare, energy, and education, to help improve America as a whole and put the economic crisis in the past.

Remembering Your First Day Of School JittersBy admin on November 16, 2009 | No Comments
Pam and Bryan had been saving all their extra income because the first day of school was on its way again. Their two daughters, Crystal and Erin, were going to start high school this year and the girls were both excited and nervous about beginning the year.
Today was the day that the girls were getting their braces off just a few weeks before school started. Pam had not shared a surprise with the girls yet. She and Bryan had put away some money to give each of the girls to take them shopping for new back to school clothes.
Pam had almost forgotten the feeling of her first day of high school, when the butterflies spun in her tummy as she was re-acquainting herself with all her classmates. There was something about the first day of high school that marked a right of passage into her teenage years.
She wanted her girls to feel confident and prepared, and when you are fourteen what you are wearing can make a big difference in how you feel about yourself.
As Pam and her daughters left the orthodontist office they were laughing and smiling and the girls could not stop looking in the mirror at their new smiles. They drove out of the parking lot and took a left onto the highway. This was not the usual road home and the girls where curious about where they were going. When they pulled into the row of shopping centers they could not have been more excited.
If there is one thing teenage girls love, it is hanging out and walking around shopping centers and the mall.
As they parked the car, Pam turned around to tell the girls how beautiful their new smiles were and how proud she was of what lovely young ladies they were becoming. She told them each that they had a little money to spend on whatever they liked for their first day of school.
As you can imagine, the girls squealed with joy and went running into the shopping centers as their mom walked behind them reminding them to slow down.
They spent the next three hours roaming around every store in the shopping centers looking for the perfect shirt, jeans, shoes, backpacks, earrings, scarves – you name it, and they looked at it.
Crystal found a pair of jeans on sale and was able to buy a new pair of sneakers. She had just enough money leftover to buy a cute shirt that made her blue eyes stand out. Erin picked out a sporty skirt and a pair of sandals, with a casual shirt that made the look not too dressy for a school day. All the while, the girls caught their reflection in the windows of the shopping centers and were delighted at their bright new smiles.
The three ladies had an unforgettable time shopping and chatting. The day was not over because Pam took them out for dinner to eat all their favorite foods that they had not been allowed to eat while wearing the braces.
At the end of the day, as Pam looked back on her own memories from her teenage years and looked forward to the memories her daughters would create, she did not forgotten all the trouble and worry she caused her mother. She could only hope Crystal and Erin would not get into sticky situations, but she was ready to support them and help them through the emotional ups and downs the next four or five years would bring.

My Online LifeBy admin on October 13, 2009 | No Comments
When I was a little kid I barely even knew what a computer was. Most of the time, my friends and I were playing outside in the pool, on the playground, or just running around. I used my imagination making up plays that my friends and I would put on for the neighborhood parents, and thinking up scenarios of predicaments my friends and I had to face. Life back then was extremely different from how it is today. Today, my online life is just as active and busy as my regular life. Even though I used to never have to be on the computer, now that I am an adult, work, school, and my social life all make up my online life.
My online life really began around seventh grade when AOL instant messenger came out. Every night I would get online and talk to lots of my friends. Whenever I had a crush on someone I would sit and wait for the little door noise that would announce them being online. If they did get online and start talking to me my heart would race and I would get super excited. Almost all of my classmates had AIM, and I stopped talking to my friends on the phone so much and, instead, talked to everybody on AIM. I looked forward to getting online every night and would often be up way later chatting on AIM than I probably should have been.
AIM continued throughout high school, but my online life got even larger as I started having to do research papers. I became familiar with researching topics online and figuring out a good way to find the best sources for my papers. My online life expanded even more as I also began using the internet to find out about news stories, movie times, and pretty much anything I wanted to know.
Even though my online life was pretty busy by this point, the biggest factor in my online life had not yet occurred. When I received my e-mail address for college though, I found out all about Facebook. Facebook, as you probably know, is probably the biggest social network online and has not only affected my online life drastically, but everyone else’s. Facebook became not just a part of my online life, but a huge part of my life in general. I became consumed by it; it had everything. You could check out all the latest updates and photos on your friends, chat, and basically find out anything you wanted to know about anyone who was your Facebook friend.
Once I graduated from college, my online life expanded even more when my job became pretty much internet based. So now, I sit in front of the computer all day not just for my online social life but also for my job. It is rare if I am in front of the computer less than eight hours a day. Considering I am only awake about 16 hours a day, I am spending at least half of my day absorbed in my online life as I am in my life which is not online. With the internet and technology today, I believe that this is going to become the norm for more and more people. I am glad that I have all the opportunities and social experiences in my online life, but I also appreciate personable relationships and situations as well.
