SANYO – My awful experience with SANYO

Wow; this one is really unpleasant but I feel obliged to right about the incident. Others shouldn’t have to go through the same experience.

I bought a 50” Sanyo Plasma HDTV from Wally World. I get it home and hooked up to my 2 desktops. After the TV kept rebooting and restarting it selves I called Sanyo Customer Support. I was told I will get a call back in 48 to 72 hours from a “senior” technician. To make the story short; I called twice more but never get a call back. Even more odd is that they were not giving me a case number.

So after waiting 3 months I contacted and they told me that they will rectify the situation by sending a repair shop to my house and fix it. The repair shop people called but wanted me to wait another week.

After not wanting to wait anymore; I contacted the Sanyo people. The last guy told me I am out of luck.

I guess I will have to live with it …. I should have not waited until the return time had passed. But here is what I am wondering about: did they do that on purpose? I mean why would they drag it out on purpose.

Frankly; I am very disappointed that I have to live with a broken item. It is my fault; I should have returned the SANYO Plasma TV right away after they didn’t call me back to help fix it. But shouldn’t they have had a better customer service? Is it reasonable to have to wait for a call back until the return policy / time period is over?

The bottom line is that in spite of the fact that it is my fault not returning the SANYO Plasma TV; the SANYO people should have called me back and assist in fixing the brand new item. I know one thing for sure though: they lost me as a customer. I will never buy SANYO electronic products … EVER. Nor will I ever recommend buying a SANYO product to any of my loved ones.

If you have been suffering from weight problems, a weight loss program might be of interest to you. Most people give up after trying reducing weight on their own. They try diets and exercises but are not able to keep themselves motivated or feel disheartened when they do not see immediate improvement. Others seriously do not know how they should go about loosing weight. In both the cases, people think professional help would be beneficial to them in order to reduce weight.

A weight loss program will see to it that there is pressure on you to stick to a regimen decided for you, when you have a person to guide you, you might also find out exactly how you can go about losing weight. There are many places that offer these programs and there are as many methods to reduce weight, as there are places. Newspapers are full of ads showing before and after pictures of people who have been successful in shedding extra pounds and getting a superb body. They claim they have become fitter and more active after they lost weight.

But how do you know which weight loss program to select? They all seem good enough and you cannot let price alone be the deciding factor. You have to find out if their claims are actually true, whether there are side effects to the procedure they suggest and whether you will be able to maintain your weight long-term, that is, even after the duration of the program is over.

Most often a quick weight loss program might not be good for the body. Unless your physician advises you to go for a program that helps you reduce weight fast, do not select it. Usually what happens with such programs is that you just shed fluids from your body initially and therefore you gain back the weight you shed once you get off the program.

Another problem is that reducing weight too quickly could leave you feeling tired and may affect various functions of your body. When you go for a wholesome program to help you be fit and healthy, you should look for programs that aid slow but steady reduction in weight. Do not be in a hurry to shed those pounds; you might gain them back just as fast. Find a program that lets you be active and teaches you how to maintain your figure lifelong.

The weight loss program will also suggest a diet. Check with a doctor or dietician to see that this diet program does consist of minerals, vitamins and proteins essential to the body. You may cut down on fat and carbohydrates in your food but other nutrients are essential for your body. Weight loss should not come at the cost of cutting them down. You should have a diet that also gives you the basic energy levels to help you through your day. You should be able to work in the program without it affecting your personal or professional life and your general vigor.
