Quality Assurance
What do you look for in a product or service? Price, availability, guarantees, style, reputation, brand recognition, and quality are just a few of the things that consumers look for before making a choice about an important product or service. Quality assurance can be a service or a description of how something might be delivered to you. Quality, the term is known to mean, “top shelf,” better than average, excellence, value, or superior. Assurance is the promise, oath, declaration, word, or pledge. Together we have Quality Assurance, the promise of superiority. When you need Quality assurance for your business, you need some kind of systems in place to monitor, train and control the information coming in and the product or service you are delivering.
Quality assurance monitoring is watching the end product to check for perfection. Monitoring can also be done with a staff of employees. Quality assurance monitoring for employees is a basic check of customer service, work ability, attitude or attendance. This can be done by a company that offers quality assurance services or by an inner department that is instructed to monitor the staff.
Quality assurance training is providing at least adequate written, oral, audio or visual training that will meet or exceed the company’s standards. Training is very important to every business and trade and many of these places will offer continued training to all employees to keep everyone on the same page. Teachers and nurses are required to have training all throughout their careers.
Quality assurance control is the ability to fine tune and inspect the final product or service that is offered. Control of your final product or service is key to providing the customers with the quality product of service that they would expect. One might also think of quality assurance control as those little stickers you find on packaged clothing, like socks and undershirts. Somewhere on the assembly line there is a quality control inspector making sure the socks and undershirts are perfect before packaging. They prove it by putting a little sticker that says, “Inspected by #43” to show the customer that the company has standards in place.
Some companies now have a quality assurance department or quality assurance services area. If a company does not have this department or area then there are other companies out there that can offer this service for you. Either way, your business will prosper from a proper quality assurance program. Some quality assurance servicescan offer all three; monitoring, training and control to help you have the best product or service you can deliver.
